Letlive are an influential post-hardcore band from Los Angeles, formed in 2002.
Fronted by the charismatic Jason Aalon Butler, the band are known for their chaotic, high-energy live shows and genre-bending sound that blended hardcore, punk, and soul.
Letlive have always been a fearless band, unafraid to speak up about the things that they believe in, and this is shown in their discography. They gained critical acclaim with their 2010 album Fake History for its political urgency. Their 2013 album The Blackest Beautiful marked a bold evolution in sound, incorporating melody and genre-bending experimentation while tackling themes of race, identity, and social justice. In 2016, they released If I’m the Devil…, further expanding their sonic palette with groove-driven rhythms and sharp socio-political commentary.
Back after a hiatus, Letlive remain a constant and important figure in the post-hardcore and alternative music scenes.
