British Blues Hall of Famer, stripped back and solo

Laurence Jones · Bromley Blues Club · Sunday 8th November 2026 · with very special guest Amy Eftekhari

One of British blues' most decorated artists brings his most personal project yet to an intimate 50-seat room. No band, no production: just Laurence, his acoustic guitar and the songs that kept him going through the hardest year of his life.

"I found a way to keep going by going solo... It's intimate, heartfelt and takes me back to where it all began." (Laurence Jones)

Why blues fans rate him so highly

• British Blues Awards Hall of Fame inductee, after Young Artist of the Year three years running

• Guitarist of the Year (British Blues Awards) and Best European Guitarist (European Blues Awards)

• No.1 on the Official UK Jazz & Blues Chart with Bad Luck & The Blues, and over 50,000 albums sold

• Played Carnegie Hall and the Royal Albert Hall

• Shared stages with Ringo Starr, Van Morrison, Jeff Beck, Johnny Winter and Status Quo

Written during a Crohn's disease flare-up that made him rethink everything, On My Own (January 2026) is his first solo acoustic album: raw, honest, stripped-down blues co-produced with Wayne Proctor, paying tribute to Robert Johnson and Lightnin' Hopkins. A rare chance to see a blues-rock star in a completely new light.
