Laura Cox is an Anglo-French guitarist, singer and songwriter born on 24 November 1990, whose journey from YouTube bedroom videos to rock-festival stages blends authenticity with sheer musical drive. She first picked up the guitar at age fourteen and began uploading covers and solos to YouTube as early as 2008, gaining millions of views and carving her path as a visible woman in a male-dominated rock world. In 2013 she formed the Laura Cox Band, and since then has released albums such as Hard Blues Shot (2017) and Burning Bright (2019) which showcase her “Southern hard-blues” style.
Her later album Head Above Water (2023) reflected a more personal songwriting edge, while live she has graced major European rock festivals, further cementing her reputation as a guitar-heavy, rock-first artist. Friendly yet fierce, Laura Cox brings a down-to-earth rock spirit backed by serious guitar chops.
