Since debuting in 2006, he has become a key figure in the UK’s vibrant funk and soul scene, with his distinctive sound drawing from classic 60s and 70s influences, while adding a modern twist. His debut album Press On (2007) earned widespread praise, and subsequent releases like This Time (2011) and Hello Baby (2016) have further showcased his skill in crafting infectious grooves and intricate, genre-blending arrangements.
