LA LOM (The Los Angeles League of Musicians) are an instrumental trio from Los Angeles known for blending Latin rhythms, surf-tinged guitar and cinematic nostalgia into vibrant danceable soundscapes. The band consists of Zac Sokolow (guitar), Jake Faulkner (bass) and Nicholas Baker (drums/percussion). Their style weaves together cumbia sonidera, classic boleros, Peruvian chicha and elements of country and surf rock — creating something that feels both rooted and adventurous.
They began playing regularly in the lobby of the historic Roosevelt Hotel, where their spontaneous sets caught attention and allowed the trio to hone their signature sound. In 2024 they released their debut album The Los Angeles League of Musicians, produced in part with Elliot Bergman, which expands that live energy with layered instrumentation and careful studio craft. Their performances channel both the heat of a dance hall and the intimacy of a back-street lounge, tapping into memory, movement and melody.
Ticket prices may vary depending on venue and location. Full pricing details are available on each individual event page.
