Kew The Music: The Human League, Kew Gardens, London - 13th July 2018

Luckily we arrived early as the queue at the gate was awful! For the amount of people coming in with coolers for picnics etc there were 6 tables for bag check....yes 6!!! It look forever and when it did eventually get to our turn he barely glanced into our bag so a complete waste of time. Kew Gardens... Either don't bother or put treble the amount of bag check desks on!! Had a great evening once we got in!!

"Great performance but didn't like the white picket fence segregating ticket holders ."

Kew The Music - 2Cellos, Kew Gardens, London - 12th July 2018

The Two Cellos were amazing. I don't know how much more the people paid for their tickets beyond the white picket fence but it did create a them and us feel which spoiled the atmosphere for me. Kew Gardens is a lovely venue. It is a shame chairs were not provided rather than having to lug your own as well as a picnic. Appreciated the free bin bag given on the way in for al rubbish. Didn't like the idea of having to use a mobile card reader on the way in when I bought a bag of fudge for only three pounds fifty and worried my card could be scammed. The Two Cellos had no merchandise for sale. I would have bought the CD had it been on sale.

Kew The Music: Razorlight, Kew Gardens, London - 12th July 2017

We went to Kew The Music: Razorlight to see one of the support bands, Reef. They were fantastic, the downside being that they were only on for 30 minutes. As we'd travelled quite a way, we decided to have some food while the Bluetones were on. The food stalls were great, very different to the normal run of the mill food that is provided at concerts. Stalls sold Quiche & Salad, curry, fish & chips, frankfurters, and Roast Duck (as in Hoisin Duck Wraps). We had Duck Platter - lettuce, spring onions, duck fat chips & roast duck; very tasty. We ate this while watching the Bluetones on the big screen and had ice-cream afterwards. It was a very pleasant evening in lovely surroundings. We left before Razorlight started as we needed to get home but were not interested in seeing them anyway.

The only negative we had about the event was that once we were through the gates and security, there was no signage as to where we were to go although as we got closer to the stage there were security personnel directing people to the seating area.
