Kew The Music: Razorlight, Kew Gardens, London - 12th July 2017
We went to Kew The Music: Razorlight to see one of the support bands, Reef. They were fantastic, the downside being that they were only on for 30 minutes. As we'd travelled quite a way, we decided to have some food while the Bluetones were on. The food stalls were great, very different to the normal run of the mill food that is provided at concerts. Stalls sold Quiche & Salad, curry, fish & chips, frankfurters, and Roast Duck (as in Hoisin Duck Wraps). We had Duck Platter - lettuce, spring onions, duck fat chips & roast duck; very tasty. We ate this while watching the Bluetones on the big screen and had ice-cream afterwards. It was a very pleasant evening in lovely surroundings. We left before Razorlight started as we needed to get home but were not interested in seeing them anyway.
The only negative we had about the event was that once we were through the gates and security, there was no signage as to where we were to go although as we got closer to the stage there were security personnel directing people to the seating area.

Kew The Music - Mary J Blige, Kew Gardens, London - 16th July 2017
Found the entry to the event easy and quick, access was good and well stewarded. Kew is a fantastic venue for summer outdoor concerts, and the fact you could bring food and drink was great, and there was a family atmosphere..... we shall return and probably to outdoor events here in future, although we live 100 miles away.

Kew The Music - All Saints, Kew Gardens, London - 13th July 2017
Space to move, great performances.
The downside was that the stage isn't high enough and the screens not nearly big enough for those towards the back, which is a shame.

Mary J Blige is my favourite R&B artist and she didn't disappoint. She raised the roof! Would love to see her again. Everyone danced through her set.

Kew The Music - James, Kew Gardens, London - 15th July 2017
Amazing music odd crowd - the recycling bins were full before James got on stage. Some arguments about whether the green or black bin was the correct reciprocal for empty rhubarb wine cans
