Kano Tickets and Tour Dates

Kano is a leading light in grime. The East London star has dominated the charts and appeared as an actor in film and TV.

Despite showing early promise in sports having represented Chelsea, West Ham and Norwich City by the age of 13, Kane Robinson decided to embark on a career in music rather than football. He joined Grime crew N.A.S.T.Y. (Natural Artistic Sounds Touching You) and began making his name on the various London pirate radio stations including the infamous Déjà vu.

In 2002 he released his first solo track Boys Love Girls which was later produced and re-released by Dizzee Rascal. By 2004 he had won Best New Comer at the Urban Music Awards positioning him perfectly for the release of his debut album Home Sweet Home. The record saw him nominated in multiple categories at the 2005 MOBOs, again taking home the award for Best Newcomer. He was also awarded Channel U’s Best Of British and pronounced one of London’s Heroes by Mayor Ken Livingstone. Robison was also nominated for Best Urban Act at the Brit Awards the following year.

His further releases include the 2007 album London Town, 140 Grime Street in 2008 and Method To The Maadness in 2010.

His latest album is titled Made in The Manor and is Kano’s first LP release in six years. The record shot straight into #8 in the UK and sees guest appearances from such stars as Jme, Giggs, Wiley and Damon Albarn. It features the lead single This Is England and the bass heavy grit of Endz.
