Jane Remover is a genre-defying singer, songwriter and producer based in Chicago, originally from northern New Jersey. Drawing inspiration from dubstep and EDM artists like Skrillex and Porter Robinson, her sound evolved through trap, digicore, and hyperpop during the mid-2010s and early 2020s. Working originally under aliases like dltzk and leroy, she helped pioneer the sample-heavy dariacore style before reclaiming her identity in mid-2022 with the release of “Royal Blue Walls” and “Cage Girl” under her real name, signalling a shift toward more intimate and expressive songwriting.
Her debut album, Frailty (2021), mixed electronic, emo, glitch-pop, indie-rock and shoegaze—all self-produced from her bedroom—and earned critical acclaim for its raw emotional scope and innovation. In 2023, her shoegaze-inflected sophomore album, Census Designated, deepened that sonic exploration with dreamy atmospherics and dynamic shifts that felt like a fever dream at twilight. Most recently, 2025’s surprise release Revengeseekerz marked a confident return to her digicore roots—melding chaotic electronic production with feral lyricism, including guest vocals from Danny Brown.
