Happy but hungry
As I had such a fabulous time at last year's performance, my family and I decided to come along again this year bringing along the grandchildren. Although the show itself was again totally wonderful, the evening was marred as we were unable to bring in a picnic as we had done last year. Although it stated on the website/posters "licensed bar & local food traders", my family and I had not noticed, read any comments about not being able to bring food to the event. Bring a coeliac myself, and my grandchildren sticking to a strict diet, we are often unable to eat out. Although this might seem like a small thing to complain about, it did unfortunately make a difference to our evening being as enjoyable, not quite the family friendly event we hoped for.
On the plus side, the music, signing and venue were wonderful.
