Artist Bio

Formed in May 2017 in Bristol, through friendship, and a desperate need for artistic and sonic self-expression, Heavy Lungs went on a frenetic spree. From the first packed out show at Crofters Rights, to recording an EP in 3 days, a raucous set at Simple Things last year, to supporting IDLES then Metz.

They went onto play outside Bristol home turf across the country and are now about to embark on a UK tour with brothers, Idles. This is the beginning. This is Heavy Lungs.

The band members include drummer George Garraett, singer Danny Nedelko, guitarist Oliver Southgate with James Minchall on bass.

Everyone loves live music, and what better way to enjoy them is to get Heavy Lungs tickets and watch them perform? Fortunately, Gigantic makes the booking process easy as you can make your selection from our huge range 24/7 using your tablet, smartphone and of course computer.

From the mouth of the opalescent horse, riding in on a gin & tonic, comes some nuggets of thought...

Abstract Thoughts...

Save your ears from tears with five tracks of gut-busting, slow-roasting, latte-sipping, neck-crunching, spot-popping, disco-dancin, rodeo-ranchin rock & roll music.

Bristol post-punk rockers Heavy Lungs just announced a mammoth UK tour and their next EP ‘Measure.’ To kick the campaign off, they’re releasing first single ‘(A Bit Of A) Birthday’ on the 13th September.

‘(A Bit Of A) Birthday’ will be available to stream on Spotify, Apple Music and Deezer, and also has a music video to coincide with it. You can also pre-order the full ‘Measure’ EP on vinyl via the Balley Records website. ‘Measure’ is set for release on the 10th October.
With overflowing energy levels, gnarly guitar work and a real sense of urgency from the get-go, this is a statement of intent from Heavy Lungs, who are arguably one of the most exciting up and coming bands around at the minute. On the single, lead singer Danny Nedelko added: “(A Bit Of A) Birthday’ is about a resentment of certain superficial aspects that come with the celebrations.

Live music has never been more popular and with only limited supplies of Heavy Lungs concert tickets being made available by the promoters, you will have to book early before they all go. With a massive selection of the very best gig tickets which only gets larger everyday plus an award-winning customer services team on hand to help with your selection, Gigantic is always the best place to come whenever you are booking for your big night out.
