Harry Redknapp is an English football manager and former player, widely recognised for his long and colourful career in the game. Beginning as a midfielder in the 1960s, he played for clubs including West Ham United and AFC Bournemouth before moving into management. Redknapp went on to manage a number of clubs across English football, earning a reputation for his man-management skills and attacking style of play.
He is best known for his time at Portsmouth, where he led the club to FA Cup victory in 2008, as well as his spells at Tottenham Hotspur, where he guided the team to UEFA Champions League qualification, and West Ham United. Across a managerial career spanning more than three decades, Redknapp became one of the Premier League’s most recognisable figures. Known for his down-to-earth personality and media presence, he remains a popular and influential figure within English football.
