Grace Jones is an icon. The supermodel, actress and singer rose the fame in 1977, signing to Island Record and releasing Top 40 singles "Private Life", "Pull Up to the Bumper", "I've Seen That Face Before", and "Slave to the Rhythm".
Her unique fusion of pop, R&B, post-punk, and funk saw her ascend in the 80s, realising platinum albums Nightclubbing, Living My Life and Slave to the Rhythm. Her latest record Hurricane was released in 2008.
