"Awesome performance"

Gabrielle Aplin , Concorde 2, Brighton - 23rd October 2017

The warm up acts were nice. Her own performance was great, energetic and playful with the crowd. Played a good mix of well known and new songs. She also played two additional songs as an encore, which was nice. All around an amazing concert.

"Beautiful voice, quite haunting at times in the ballads. Good interaction with the audience."

Gabrielle Aplin , Bristol Trinity, Bristol - 24th October 2017

Great venue and innovative to use an old church. Very hot though inside! Be warned, car parking is minimal and once you drive in and find no space, the only way out again is to reverse past the people queuing to get in and back out onto a main road. Not for the faint hearted was that experience!

Gabrielle Aplin , O2 Academy Birmingham, Birmingham - 20th October 2017

Warm up acts were great, so glad we got there early. Gabrielle was fab, funny and loved the performance. Just a shame dizzy rascal was also performing above so got the pleasure of hearing the thumping bass. Not a good combo really.

Singer / Songwriter Gabrielle Aplin came to the fore building her fanbase through her YouTube videos of acoustic covers. She has since signed to major label Parlophone through whom she has released her two albums English Rain and Light Up The Dark.

She has just announced an extensive tour for October 2017 which takes her to Manchester Cathedral, Cambridge Junction, Concorde 2 at Brighton, Bristol Trinity and ULU in London.

Gabrielle Aplin tickets are just about to come on sale. Set your personal reminder to alert you with a text message or an email when they are released at 09:00 on Friday 3rd of March.

Her latest album is entitled Light Up The Dark. It adds a new chapter to a career that has already delivered 80 million Spotify streams, 90 million YouTube views, 1.5 million sales of single, and #1 chart positions in the UK and Australia over the course of her Gold certified debut album English Rain.

Light Up The Dark received extensive BBC Radio 1 support with a playlist for the title track as well as Huw Stephens’ Hottest Record followed by a second playlist for the recent single Sweet Nothing.

The album was inspired by Joni Mitchell and the production on Feist’s The Reminder. “Her voice is just here, right at the front, and everything sits around it perfectly,” says Aplin. “I’ve also become much more comfortable writing songs about other people’s stories as well as my own, much of which is inspired by travelling and everything I’ve seen since my first album.
