A breathlessly unpredictable collision of punk energy, math-rock time signatures, techno beats, free-jazz sax solos, blaring synthesisers and tumbling call-and-response vocals, Snapshot Of Pure Attention is the incredible second album by fast-rising Berlin trio Painting. Released on April 11, 2025 on limited-edition 12” vinyl and via digital services, jointly by Berlin’s Sinnbus and the isle of Eigg, Scotland’s Lost Map Records, it’s the much-anticipated follow-up to Painting’s critically acclaimed 2022 debut album Painting Is Dead, which saw them hailed as “the greatest new band in the German pop avant-garde” by Rolling Stone.

CRACKED LIME:
Cracked Lime are an incredibly versatile London based duo who are making some of the most interesting, fun yet moody tracks to come out of the capital in a minute. Having played awesome shows at the East London Block Party, The George Tavern, The Windmill and Sebright Arms. The duo have recently started working alongside the legends at Strong Island Recordings. Expect to dance as much as you sulk during their wonderful Margate debut show.

LULU:
Lulu is a big favourite at the Fabulous HQ. Her sound takes a lot from some of the great trip hop artists of our times whilst simultaneously sounding like one of the most original sounding artists that we have heard come out of the east Kent music scene in a very long time. Lulu has been working on new music with some of the most interesting musicians and producers in the game at the moment. Expect to sway from side to side whilst you’re being haunted by ghostly beautiful and strange music.
