French Police are a Chicago-based darkwave trio known for their moody blend of post-punk, coldwave, and indie rock. Formed in 2018 by vocalist/guitarist Brian Flores, the band also features lead guitarist Manny Herrera and bassist Rolando Donjuan. Their music combines rhythmic guitar, synths, and introspective lyrics, often sung in Spanish, creating a melancholic yet danceable sound. They've cultivated a dedicated underground following through their distinctive style and energetic performances.
Since their debut in 2019, French Police have released several albums and EPs, including French Police (2019), Haunted Castle (2020), Haunted Castle (Extended Play) (2021), Bleu (2023), and Bully (2024). Their latest single, "LIBRA," was released in August 2025. The band has toured extensively across North America and Mexico, performing in venues such as Meow Wolf Denver and The Novo in Los Angeles, and has been featured on platforms like Audiotree Live.
