2025 saw the breakout year for LONG ISLAND. With an early tip as one of indie-tastemaker This Feeling’s ‘Big in 2025’ seeing them take to the iconic Leeds Brudenell stage for
the first time and the release of the Radio 1 featured, emotionally fuelled single ‘fragile’demonstrating the band’s versatility, LONG ISLAND were hailed one of Radio X legend JohnKennedy’s Apply to Play festival winners. The band spent a summer gracing major festivalstages, including Truck, Y Not, Victorious, Kendal Calling, Isle of Wight, and a headline stageslot at Tramlines, winning over audiences with their unrelenting live sets. With a sold-out Leedsdebut headline show following, alongside support slots with The Lilacs, Fickle Friends, and TheRosadocs, the band rounded off the year wowing international audiences at Viva Sounds fortheir first show outside of the UK, cementing the band as one to watch for 2026!
