Brighton trio EVILLE have a sound so distinctive they had to name it themselves. Brat Metal is their gloriously loud mix of crushing nu-metal riffs, electronic beats and big pop hooks, delivered with hyper-feminine swagger and plenty of attitude. Made up of singer and guitarist Eva Sheldrake, bassist, vocalist and producer Jude Richards and drummer Milo Hemsley, the band quickly caught the ear of BBC Radio 1's Alyx Holcombe and won early backing from Kerrang!. Their debut EP, BRAT METAL (2025), packed singles like "BR4T MBL" and "No Pictures Please" into four tracks of bratty, empowering noise, and they've kept the momentum going with tracks such as "BLOW UP!".
EVILLE really come alive on stage. They've brought the chaos to Reading & Leeds, 2000trees, Burn It Down and Manchester's Radar Festival, and have shared bills with the likes of WARGASM, Delilah Bon, Alien Ant Farm, Lake Malice, Glitchers and Cody Frost. Expect pastel-coloured mayhem, breakdowns that hit hard and a crowd that's in on the fun from the very first note.
