Everyone Says Hi is a British indie rock band formed in 2024, made up of former members from popular acts like Kaiser Chiefs, The Kooks, The Dead 60s, and Howling Bells. The line-up features Nick Hodgson (Kaiser Chiefs), Pete Denton (The Kooks), Ben Gordon (The Dead 60s), Glenn Moule (Howling Bells), and Tom Dawson. Their name is inspired by David Bowie’s 2002 track, "Everyone Says 'Hi'."
Their self-titled debut album, released in January 2025 through Chrysalis Records, combines indie rock with psychedelic and lounge influences. The album features the singles "Brain Freeze" and "Walking In The Air", with the former showcasing a saxophone solo by Abi Harding from The Zutons. Known for their energetic live shows, Everyone Says Hi draws comparisons to bands like Arctic Monkeys and Tame Impala, earning attention for their dynamic sound and captivating performances.
