Empyre are a British rock band from Northampton known for their dark, atmospheric sound and emotionally charged songwriting, blending hard rock, alternative rock and grunge into something cinematic and deeply affecting. Fronted by vocalist and guitarist Henrik Steenholdt, with Did Coles on lead guitar, Grant Hockley on bass and Elliot Bale on drums, the band first made their mark with their acclaimed debut album Self Aware (2019).
