DIIV are the Brooklyn shoegaze favourites who pair towering walls of guitar with melodies that stick in your head for days.
Formed in Brooklyn in 2011 by singer and guitarist Zachary Cole Smith, DIIV have spent more than a decade blending the woozy roar of shoegaze with melodies that stick in your head for days. Their debut Oshin (2012) made them leading lights of a new wave of dream pop, before Is the Is Are (2016) and the darker, heavier Deceiver (2019) pushed things somewhere noisier. Frog in Boiling Water (2024) went further still, wrapping big questions about modern life in grinding, gorgeous guitars. In 2026, they teamed up with British producer A. G. Cook (Charli XCX, Caroline Polachek) on the sharp, hook-laden singles "The Fountain" and "Kid".
Alongside Andrew Bailey, Colin Caulfield and Ben Newman, Smith leads a seriously immersive live band. DIIV have supported Depeche Mode across North America and released the live album Boiled Alive (2026), recorded at their Los Angeles shows. They're regular visitors to the UK, with festival sets at Latitude, Field Day and End of the Road, and headline gigs at venues such as London's Kentish Town Forum. Expect huge washes of sound, soaring melodies and more than a few goosebump moments.
Ticket prices may vary depending on venue and location. Full pricing details are available on each individual event page.
