Manchester-based quartet redefining the modern shoegaze sound with elements of dream pop and grunge.
CRUUSH are made up of Amber Warren (vocals), Arthur Boyd (guitar), Fotis Kalantzis (drums) and Ru Cowl (bass). Their sound melds haunting melodies and immersive textures with a raw edge — songs like “Wishful Thinker”, “Stick In The Mud”, “False Start”, “Sombre By The Weekend” and “backwards 36” showcase their ability to pull emotion out of fuzzed-out guitars and ethereal atmospheres. The band describe their music as “a manufacturing error of prettiness… corrosive, half-melted” and occupy a space where longing meets grit.
With roots in Manchester’s vibrant indie & alternative scene, CRUUSH have built a reputation for delivering intense live shows that float like dream pop but hit like grunge-fueled rock.
