If you'd like to be the first to know when new events are announced, you can follow Crack Cloud below.
Crack Cloud are a boundary-pushing Canadian punk collective from Vancouver, formed in 2015 and known for their raw intensity, communal spirit and artfully chaotic sound. Centred around drummer, vocalist and creative lead Zach Choy, the group operate more like an art collective than a traditional band — weaving together post-punk urgency, experimental rock, multimedia storytelling and a powerful DIY ethos. The current sextet includes Zach Choy (lead vocals, drums, synths), Will Choy (lead guitar, backing vocals), Bryce Cloghesy (saxophone, lead guitar), Aleem Khan (keys, synths, bongos, backing vocals), Jared Drake (bass, backing vocals) and Nat Philipps (saxophone). Their 2020 debut album Pain Olympics arrived as a bold, fractured and cathartic statement, channelling themes of trauma, recovery and community through avant-punk soundscapes.
Their follow-up album Tough Baby (2022) expanded that vision with a richer, more cinematic palette — blending brass, choral arrangements, jagged guitars and introspective lyricism into a project that felt both turbulent and strangely hopeful. On stage, Crack Cloud are electrifying: a tightly knit ensemble whose performances balance controlled chaos with emotional weight, supported by striking visuals and a sense of collective purpose. With their fearless creativity and commitment to exploring the connection between art and lived experience, Crack Cloud remain one of the most compelling and unconventional voices in contemporary post-punk.
