CASTELLS

Kent four-piece Castells make big, open-hearted indie rock, built on driving guitars, soaring melodies and choruses that beg to be shouted back. Fronted by vocalist and guitarist Connor Crooks, the band came out swinging with debut single "Viola" (2020), a rush of a song about a whirlwind one-night romance, before gathering their early tracks on the Viola EP (2021). They came up in the same scene as their friends Luna Bay, and Luna Bay's Connor O'Mara co-wrote Castells' euphoric 2022 single "Do It All Again".
Since then, Castells have kept the momentum rolling with the This Tastes Just Like a Psychedelic Heartbreak EP (2024), along with singles "Getaway Car" (2025) and the heavier, grungier "FMU" (2026). Fan favourite "Better Days" carries a message close to the band's heart: nobody should have to face hard times alone. That spirit really comes alive on stage, where fans have been known to chant the band's name between songs. They've headlined London's Omeara and joined Luna Bay for a run of UK dates that took them from Glasgow to London, so expect big singalongs and plenty of heart.
