Camel, Royal Albert Hall, London - 17th September 2018
I first saw Camel perform Moonmadness in Cardiff back in 1976. It was the first concert I took my now wife to together with my dearest friend, so to rekindle fond memories could not be missed. The concert was remarkable, the setting great and I was 20 years old again. Andy Latimer's playing was sublime backed by Denis Clement's druming and Colin Bass's driving backing. For me however, was the perfomance by the 'new guy' - Pete Jones was a real treat. A superb musician. The energy and passion was still there and this was probably the best concert I've attended. Can't wait for the DVD to be released. Well done lads and a huge thank you - you made an old man very happy!

Camel were absolutely awesome! The musicianship and vocals of the keys and sax player blew me away. The drummer was one the best and tightest I’ve seen and a real credit to prog music. Colin was great on bass and vocals and Andy is a true legend. I feel honoured to have seen Camel, the best prog band of all time in the Royal Albert Hall. I still have goose bumps!!!!

Had pleasure of seeing Camel twice on this tour - Aylesbury and the RAH. Fabulous musicianship and material. Andy Latimer must have the best guitar tone of anyone. Been a fan since 1974 and still loving every second.

Excellent show at a great venue, final night of the Moonmadness tour. Looked like it was being filmed, so hopefully we will see this soon on camelproductions.com. Same setlist as earlier gigs: all of Moonmadness (except Aristillus which was pre-recorded) for the first set, then a varied second set. The band were all clearly well into it, especially Andy as usual. Let's hope there are more Camel tours in the near future!

All the energy and emotion of when I first saw them so many years ago - they just seem to get better with time
