By The Rivers have firmly put themselves on the radar with their Pop, Soul & Reggae fusion sound with an Afrobeat twist.

The 6 piece band from Leicester, expertly avoid the constraint of one genre, whilst bringing to the table
a distinctive sound wave of clean cut rhythms and hypnotic horns.

Their self-titled debut album and 2015s highly anticipated follow-up single If They Dont Know, have been the catalyst in the bands growing success, providing airtime on BBC Radio 1 Xtra, 6 Music and recognition from BBC Introducing. Extensive touring across the UK and Europe has allowed the band the
chance to support greats names, including The Wailers, Jamie Cullum, Michael Kiwanuka, The Specials, Madness and Fun Lovin Criminals.

They are a band known for their electrifying live shows; being hailed One of the best live acts in the UK by BBC Introducings Dean Jackson. Festivals including Glastonbury, Bestival, Shambala and Boomtown have been the setting for such performances, earning them a place among Foals, Jessie Ware & others as one of the Top 5 Future Rising Stars to be seen on Glastonbury Festivals Pyramid Stage, as chosen by the BBC.

The spring of 2016 will witness a matured BTR sound in the form of a new 5 track EP release, which is destined to be on everyone's Summer playlist.

"These guys are going to be huge" Jamie Cullum.
