Brooke Bentham is a British singer-songwriter from South Shields known for her atmospheric indie-folk sound and quietly powerful songwriting. Her music blends delicate melodies with reflective lyricism, capturing moments of uncertainty, introspection and emotional honesty. Drawing listeners into intimate soundscapes, Bentham’s songs explore the complexities of creativity, identity and the quiet spaces between life’s bigger moments.
Her debut album Everyday Nothing (2020) earned widespread critical acclaim and an AIM Independent Album of the Year nomination, alongside praise from publications including NME, The Guardian and The Line of Best Fit. She followed with The Caring EP (2023), a collection that reflects on embracing the unknown and rediscovering joy in music-making. Alongside her solo work, Bentham has collaborated closely with fellow South Shields artist Sam Fender, contributing vocals and performing with his live band while continuing to develop her own distinctive voice as a songwriter.
