About Brontide

Brontide is a British post-rock band known for their intricate, instrumental sound and complex compositions. The trio gained a strong following with their debut album Sans Souci (2011), which combined math-rock elements with expansive, atmospheric soundscapes. Follow-up album Artery continued to push the boundaries of instrumental rock, with tracks like "Cabin" showcasing their technical prowess and dynamic range.


Brontide frequently performed at UK festivals like ArcTanGent and Damnation, where their blend of melodic passages and driving rhythms resonated with fans of experimental music. They’ve shared stages with acts such as Russian Circles and And So I Watch You From Afar, solidifying their place in the UK post-rock scene before initially disbanding in 2017.
