Famed songwriter and guitarist from post punk provocateurs The Fall; Brix Smith is now both a solo artist and leader of her own band Brix & the Extricated which also includes brothers Steve and Paul Hanley who were also both long term members of The Fall.
Brix is also notable for her work in fashion, and together with husband Philip Start, began the business Start which now includes four boutiques plus the online store.
