Breakout launches at Dead Wax Digbeth on July 9th, bringing together emerging Midlands artists, creatives and music industry professionals for a night of live music, industry talks and real connection.

Built to bridge the gap between the East and West Midlands scenes, Breakout is a new grassroots platform created to champion independent artists, strengthen the regional creative network and build opportunities outside of traditional industry pathways.

The Midlands has never lacked talent. It has often lacked the infrastructure, connection and support needed to help that talent grow properly. Breakout exists to change that by creating a space where artists, bands, producers, photographers, videographers, designers, promoters, managers, students and wider creatives can meet, collaborate and build something real together.

The launch night will feature live performances from upcoming Midlands artists, talks and insight from industry professionals, and a room full of people who care about the future of the region’s music scene.
