About BIIG TIME

Biig Time is the new project from Sydney-based brothers and songwriters Johnny and Matty Took. Best known for their work in DMA’S (Johnny) and PLANET (Matty), the duo created Biig Time as an outlet for songs that didn’t quite fit their main bands, drawing from a vault of over 100 demos.


Fusing ‘80s American rock and roll with British shoegaze, Biig Time pushes the boundaries of indie rock while showcasing the brothers’ innate talent for crafting infectious melodies. Their debut single "It’s You" introduces their signature sound—steezy vocals, reverb-soaked guitars, and anthemic songwriting—offering just a glimpse of what’s to come.
