Exploring themes of mental health, depression and addiction; his confessional songs resonate with listeners and critics alike, and he is celebrated both back in the U.S. and in his adopted Manchester home.
His records include Hide, Run Away (2005), Blink of a Nihilist (2007), How to Die in the North (2015), Deportation Blues (2018), Shortly After Takeoff (2020) and The Last Rotation of Earth (2023).

Loved this gig. It surpassed my already high expectations. Bought the tickets before lockdown, so a long wait, but it was worth it! Fabulous in every way. Love the venue too.

Seen BC a few times but this was by far the best, fantastic performances and lots of crowd engagement and humour. Love him!
