Math-rock band Battles is based in New York. Formed in 2002, the group is now led by Ian Williams on keys and guitar plus drummer John Stanier. They have released four studio albums, including Mirrored (2007), Gloss Drop (2011), La Di Da Di (2015) and Juice B Crypts (2019).
