Are You Listening? (AYL) is a multi-venue festival held in Reading, and since launching in 2013 has raised over £85000 for Reading Mencap charity.
This critically acclaimed festival was shortlisted as a 'Grassroots Champion' nominee at the first national LIVE Awards in 2023, AYL has also won ‘Cultural Contribution at the ‘Pride of Reading’ Awards 2024, and has previously won ‘Festival of the Year’ and ‘Partnership in the Arts’ at the Reading Cultural Awards plus ‘Event of the Year’ at the inaugural Alt Reading Awards, making this grassroots festival a cultural cornerstone in Reading.
Previous acts at AYL include Bristolian punk juggernauts IDLES, Black Country post-punk rising stars Big Special, prolific electro-punks Fat Dog, and many, many more.
