Fresh from showcase performances at Jazzahead! and a sold-out US tour, the Romanian trio - Andrei Petrache, Mike Alex, and Philip Goron -arrive with a reputation for injecting Eastern European imagination into the global jazz bloodstream.

Their music is a vivid tapestry of influences: the intricate, odd-meter folk rhythms of the Balkans are layered over cool, Nordic-style piano melodies and underpinned by a driving, almost rock-like energy.
