Alessandra Mele, known mononymously as Alessandra, is an Italian-Norwegian singer who gained widespread recognition for representing Norway at the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 with her empowering anthem "Queen of Kings." Born in Italy on September 5, 2002, she moved to Norway to pursue her music career after high school, studying at the LIMPI music school. Before her Eurovision success, she competed in The Voice Norway in 2022, advancing to the live rounds.
Alessandra’s debut single "Queen of Kings" won the Norwegian national selection, Melodi Grand Prix 2023, and propelled her to the Eurovision final, where she finished in fifth place. Her music reflects themes of self-empowerment, authenticity, and her personal experiences, including her journey as a bisexual artist. In 2024, she continued her momentum with the release of new singles, cementing her place as one of Norway's rising stars in the music scene.
