Zeal & Ardor are an avant-garde metal band. Formed in 2013, the sextet draws on African-American spirituals and black-metal, and includes Manuel Gagneux (lead vocals, guitars), Denis Wagner (backing vocals), Marc Obrist (backing vocals), Tiziano Volante (rhythm guitar, lead guitar), Lukas Kurmann (bass) and Marco Von Allmen (drums). They have released the albums Devil Is Fine (2016) and Stranger Fruit (2018).
