1-800 GIRLS is the alias of Bristol-based producer Jake Stewart—a maestro of emotionally charged, future-skewed electronic music. His early spark came with U, Me and Madonna EP (digital single originally released 2017, EP following 2019). That went on to crystallise his unique blend of indie-pop nostalgia and club-ready emotion. It was followed by the intimate Dancing For You EP (2019), and later the glitch-kissed Slipping EP (2020). His most refined moment arrived with When U Call EP (2022). Since then, singles like That's Just How I Feel (2024), continue to layer nostalgia, heartbreak and trance-fuelled euphoria.
Live, 1-800 GIRLS is nothing short of spellbinding—bridging euphoric house, slinky UK bass and left-field electronica, each set weaving emotion and dancefloor memory. His music has earned plaudits from BBC Radio 6 Music, Mixmag and Spotify, and he’s toured solo across London, Manchester, Leeds and Glasgow.
