For over 40 years, Kirk Brandon has led Spear of Destiny, a cornerstone of the UK’s post-punk scene. Formed in 1983 after the dissolution of Theatre of Hate, the band quickly established a reputation for their commanding live performances and genre-defying sound. Today’s lineup is the longest-serving to date, featuring Adrian Portas (New Model Army, Sex Gang Children), Craig Adams (Sisters of Mercy, The Cult, The Mission), Phil Martini (Jim Jones and the Righteous Mind), saxophonist Clive Osborne, and long-time collaborator Steve Allen-Jones on keyboards.
Janus (2025) consists of a collection of re-recorded and reimagined tracks from their best-selling albums, Outland and The Price You Pay. Known for their electrifying performances at festivals like Rebellion and Kubix, Spear of Destiny remains a must-see live act, offering a show steeped in passion, history, and timeless energy.
