At ATP we generally have an over 18’s policy as the festival is not geared towards younger children, but we understand that quite a few of you like to bring your children along. So if you are bringing kids along to the event they are fine to enjoy the festival, bands and the facilities onsite up until 8pm, as long as they are accompanied by an adult. After this time, we ask that they go back to the accommodation as there will be restrictions on them going into venues, and they will not be able to watch the bands or use the facilities.
Please protect your children’s ears when going into venues to watch bands, by either using earplugs or noise restricting earphones. ATP/Butlins do not provide either of these things and cannot be held responsible for any hearing damage or loss.

By Road:
Heading north the simplest route is to take the M5 to Taunton (Junction 25), then take the A358 and A39 to Minehead. Heading south on the M5, you can follow the signposts for the A39 from junction 24. Butlins Minehead Holiday Camp is just half a mile along the seafront road from Minehead town centre. Butlins is signposted from the M5 and from Bridgwater and Taunton.
By Train or Rail:
If you are travelling by train, the nearest main line station to Minehead is Taunton. A bus transfer service is operated by Southern National between Taunton Station and Minehead. This service is available at an additional cost. On Mondays to Saturdays, there's approximately an hourly service, with the last bus leaving Taunton Railway Station at 10:15 pm. On Sundays and Bank Holidays services run every 2 hours from 9:35 am - 9:35 pm. For general information call Southern National on 01823 272033. Please note that National Express coaches stop inside the main entrance.

Other info:
There are 3 cash machines on resort and most of the venues and shops do cash back from Debit Cards.
The reception area will open from 9am on Friday morning for check-in, however the venues will not be open until later in the day, please check the website nearer the time of the event for full details of venue opening times.
You will be provided with 2 key cards per accommodation if you encounter any problems using them please go back to the reception area where they will reprogramme the card.

Please note that Friday is an extremely busy day for check-in so there may be a little wait, we will obviously work as fast as possible to check everybody into the accommodation.
Also, if you arrive outside of the above hours for check-in, please be prepared to wait until a member of staff becomes available to help you.
Checkout is by 10am Monday morning please take, both keycards back to the main reception. If you want to checkout during the night please speak to a member of security to find out where to hand them in.
Butlins Resort facilities are fully accessible – specific information on each venue/bar/restaurant is detailed below:
- Centre Stage has a lift for those with mobility issues. Please observe the weight limits as some of the big mobility scooters may be too heavy, if this is the case Butlins can provide alternative scooters for guests. There are Disabled Toilets inside.
- Reds has ramp access and disabled toilets.
- Crazy horse is single level access and has a disabled toilet.
- Jaks has ramp access and a disabled toilet.
- Irish Bar has a single level access but no disabled toilet.
- Sun& Moon has single level access and a disabled toilet.
- The whole of Skyline is totally accessible on same level and with ramps to Skyline Cafe. There are disabled toilets in Skyline.
- All the guest restaurants have disabled access, same level and either toilet facilities in them, or near by.
