The main issue for those with mobility problems is the various levels throughout the building. All stairs have sturdy handrails. There are 3 steps into reception, 37 steps to the foyer bar, 14 steps to the main arena (54 total), 24 steps from the foyer bar to the toilets (64 total) and a further 23 steps to the balcony bar (87 total). With prior notice we can arrange for our staff to help those people with mobility problems as much as is possible. Wheelchair Users: There is no lift but we are happy to manually lift wheelchair users. If possible please arrive 5 minutes before doors open and make yourself known to our security staff for advanced entry. The upper side balcony which can be viewed here is a good position to watch live shows. Your view may partially be obstructed by the balcony railings. We are happy to provide you with further information to allow you to make informed a decision prior to your visit. Scala can also provide information on the venue in large type or on tape.
