About Valley Maker
Valley Maker, the musical project of South Carolina-bred, Seattle-based songwriter Austin Crane, announces his new album Rhododendron. Set for release on October 12, the album is Valley Maker's debut with new label home Frenchkiss Records. The ten songs of Rhododendron reflect Crane's headspace as a PhD student in Human Geography, roaming through places in time and meditating on the spaces and connections we share with others. The record features production by Crane's longtime friend Chaz Bear of Toro y Moi and Trevor Spencer (Father John Misty, Fleet Foxes).

Folk songwriter Austin Crane has been working under the moniker Valley Maker since 2010. He studio album releases include the 2015 debut When I Was a Child and the soon to be released follow up Rhododendron which is released in autumn and accompanied by promotional gigs.
