THE SHOW               Legendary rock band The Who will be back on the road for their UK 2023 tour ‘The Who Hits Back!’ with a live orchestra. They will be playing in Hull, Edinburgh, London, Derby, Badminton, Durham, St Helens and Brighton from 6th-23rd July. Joining them will be UB40 featuring Ali Campbell across all shows except London & Edinburgh. The band are set to perform music from throughout their nearly 60-year career, including sections devoted to classic albums Tommy & Quadrophenia as well as other beloved Who songs.

Ticket Despatch        You will receive an email confirmation at the time of booking.  THIS IS NOT YOUR TICKET.  Your tickets will be sent to the same email address at a later date and no later than 4 weeks before the event.

  • We regret that exchanges and refunds are not available, except in the unlikely event that the concert is cancelled and an alternative date is not available


  • If there are tickets available, the Box Office at the venue will be open from 09:00 on the day of the concert. Tickets will be priced higher on the day.


  • We advise that the event may not be suitable for young children, especially those under 2 years of age. However, if you do arrive with a non-ticketed child under 2 years old, please report to the box office where an attendant will provide a complimentary ticket.  You will need to purchase a ticket for all children 2 years and older.  Buggies may not be permitted.  Necessary care bags will be permitted, but please be advised that additional security checks may take place.

  • There are no child discounts.

  • Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult 18+


  • Gates will open at 4:30pm

  • Please enter by the gates indicated by your tickets following the venue signage and/or instructions from the stewards. Your Block, Row and Seat number will be indicated on your ticket.

  • Please allow plenty of time for your journey and for parking and transfer, as well as getting to your seat

  • The concert will end at approximately 10:30pm

  • The venue will be operating a no re-entry policy. Once you have entered the venue you cannot exit and re-enter

    • A complimentary carer ticket is available under certain circumstances and on provision of “proof of disability”. Such proof shall include:

      • Receipt of Higher rate of Disability Living Allowance (mobility or care component)

      • Receipt of Enhanced rate PIP (Personal Independence Payment)

      • A personal letter from your GP explaining that support is required and why

    • Assistance Dogs

      • Assistance Dogs are allowed into the stadium but please advise the venue at least seven days before the concert

      • Please ensure you purchase a ticket at the end of a row to allow your Assistance Dog to sit beside you

      • Due reference will be given to all aspects of safety and guidance from Guide Dogs for the Blind to ensure safety within the Stadium

    • Accessible Parking

      • Limited numbers of disabled car parking spaces will be available on a first come, first served basis

      • Details of cost and how to apply will be published nearer the event

      • You will need to provide proof of eligibility when parking on the night

    • Accessible Toilet Facilities

      • Accessible toilet facilities are available

      • If you experience any problems with the use of the accessible toilets, please contact the nearest steward


Arriving By Car

  • The Totally Wicked Stadium is located between Liverpool & Manchester and is easily accessible from both the M62 (Junction 7) and M6 (Junction 24)

  • From the M62 follow the A570 (St Helens Linkway) and from the M6 follow the A580 and you will see signs to TW Stadium or a Rugby ball.

  • Alternatively use the postcode WA9 3AL on your satnav


  • There will not be any parking (other than for disabled patrons) available at the Stadium

  • Please make use of the Local Authority Car Parks

  • The nearest train station is St Helens Central, which is less than a 15 minute walk from the Stadium, with frequent services running to and from Liverpool Lime Street, Wigan North Western and Preston

  • For the Manchester / Liverpool line, please use Lea Green Station which is less than two miles away from the Stadium

  • On the main London / Glasgow line the nearest stations are Warrington Bank Quay and Wigan North Western which are both approximately 9 miles from the Stadium

  • Your bags will be checked and you may be subject to a search on entry to the stadium. This is for everyone’s safety and we ask that you remain patient and co-operate with security staff

  • We search everyone entering the venue and employ a range of other security measures in and around the site, some of which may not be visible

  • Each member of staff is here to ensure your comfort and safety. They have all been briefed to keep an eye open for anything unusual

  • Please arrive in good time as our enhanced security measures may mean that it might take a little longer to get into the venue

  • In order to make the screening process go as smoothly as possible, please keep all personal items to a minimum. Only small handbags and shoulder bags will be allowed into the venue
