THE SHOW               Legendary rock band The Who will be back on the road for their UK 2023 tour ‘The Who Hits Back!’ with a live orchestra. They will be playing in Hull, Edinburgh, London, Derby, Badminton, Durham, St Helens and Brighton from 6th-23rd July. Joining them will be UB40 featuring Ali Campbell across all shows except London & Edinburgh. The band are set to perform music from throughout their nearly 60-year career, including sections devoted to classic albums Tommy & Quadrophenia as well as other beloved Who songs.


                                    This is a seated and non-seated event There are up to 18,000 seated located on a slope down to the stage position with the best and most expensive seats nearest to the stage. At the back of the arena is a General Admission area for grass seating or standing where you can bring rugs and blankets.  You will be able to rent chairs on site - do not bring your own. Street food stalls and local producers will be serving a wide variety of foods for picnicking and dining.  You will have the opportunity to dine around the world on the best of Gloucestershire produce and sample drinks from speciality bars and pop ups. The gates will open earlier than usual so that you can enjoy the stunning park, great food and pre-event music. Note - payment is by card and contactless only - NO CASH

Ticket Despatch        You will receive an email confirmation at the time of booking.  THIS IS NOT YOUR TICKET.  Your tickets will be sent to the same email address at a later date and no later than 4 weeks before the event.

REFUNDS/EXCHANGES



  • We regret that exchanges and refunds are not available, except in the unlikely event that the concert is cancelled and an alternative date is not available


BUYING TICKETS ON THE DAY



  • If there are tickets available, the Box Office at the venue will be open from 12:00 on the day of the concert. Tickets will be priced higher on the day.


AGE RESTRICTIONS



  • We advise that the event may not be suitable for young children, especially those under 2 years of age. However, if you do arrive with a non-ticketed child under 2 years old, please report to the box office where an attendant will provide a complimentary ticket.  You will need to purchase a ticket for all children 2 years and older.  Buggies may be permitted but cannot be taken into the seating area.  A buggy parking area will be provided.  Necessary care bags will be permitted, but please be advised that additional security checks may take place.

  • There are no child discounts.

  • Under 16s must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian


Schedule



  • Parking will be available from 3:30pm

  • Gates will open at 4:30pm

  • Please enter by the gates indicated by your tickets following the venue signage and/or instructions from the stewards. Your Block, Row and Seat number will be indicated on your ticket.

  • Please allow plenty of time for your journey and for parking and transfer, as well as getting to your seat

  • The concert will end at approximately 10:30pm

  • The venue will be operating a no re-entry policy. Once you have entered the venue you cannot exit and re-enter


ACCESSIBILITY


The event is held on the stunning Badminton Estate and, whilst the ground is well maintained and laid to grass, it is uneven in places with a gentle slope and potentially the odd rabbit hold.  Where possible, footpaths will be installed but please be aware that these may not cover all routes around the arena

    • A complimentary carer ticket is available under certain circumstances and on provision of “proof of disability”. Such proof shall include:

Arriving By Car



  • Badminton is situated some 15 miles from Bristol and Bath and about 100 miles west of London. Please follow event signage from Stroud, Cirencester, Chippenham or the M4 J15, J17 and J18

  • Only use your satnav device until you pick up event signage and follow signs to Public Parking accordingly as satnav can take no account of Badminton’s traffic management plan


Parking



  • Standard parking will be in the North Car Park with a walk in the region of 800-1000m and a walk time of 10-15 minutes

  • VIP Parking will be in the East Car Park which is 500m from the Arena - 3-7 minutes walking, depending on your parking position

  • Please follow road signage and traffic instructions on the way in

  • Please do not bring professional audio/visual recording equipment as these will not be permitted within the venue

SECURITY



  • Your bags will be checked and you may be subject to a search on entry to the venue. This is for everyone’s safety and we ask that you remain patient and co-operate with security staff

  • We search everyone entering the venue and employ a range of other security measures in and around the site, some of which may not be visible

  • Each member of staff is here to ensure your comfort and safety. They have all been briefed to keep an eye open for anything unusual

  • Please arrive in good time as our enhanced security measures may mean that it might take a little longer to get into the venue

  • In order to make the screening process go as smoothly as possible, please keep all personal items to a minimum. Only small handbags and shoulder bags will be allowed into the venue

  • Agreement to be searched (including belongings) by an appropriate male/female security operative is a condition of entry to the event

  • You may be body/bag searched at the entrances, on the site or when leaving

  • Please note that there will NOT be a luggage storage or cloakroom facility at the venue

  • The use of threatening behaviour, foul or abusive language is strictly forbidden and will result in arrest and/or ejection from the venue

  • Smoking and vaping is not permitted in the wider arena area including all seating and viewing areas

  • There are designated smoking areas that will be clearly signposted and furnished with ashtrays

  • All customers have easy access to toilet facilities and there are wheelchair accessible toilets

  • Gender Neutral Toilets are available at each toilet block

  1. Conditions of Entry


The organisers, acting reasonably at all times, reserve the right, in their absolute discretion to refuse admission to the event, ban from entry to the event, or remove from the event any person who:



  1. refuses to comply with any requirements regarding COVID-19 at the time of the event including, but not limited to, the wearing of masks, proof of vaccine or providing negative lateral flow tests

  2. is under 18 and not accompanied by a parent or legal guardian



  • is not in possession of a relevant ticket or pass for the event



  1. refuses to allow themselves and/or their belongings to be searched by an appropriate male / female security operative. You may be body/bag searched at the entrances, on the site or when leaving

  2. Is in possession of a prohibited item or substance or is suspected to be under the influence of a prohibited substance Prohibited items are as follows:

    1. excessive amounts of cigarettes, ie more than for personal consumption

    2. alcohol - no alcohol is permitted to be brought onsite

    3. illegal substances including New Psychoactive Substances (NPS) or what was previously considered a ‘legal high’. This includes nitrous oxide

    4. unauthorised sound systems

    5. professional film or video equipment or audio recorders

    6. portable laser equipment and laser pens

    7. megaphones

    8. fireworks of any nature

    9. aerosols over 250ml

    10. air-horns

    11. flares and sky/Chinese lanterns, generators, BBQs, fireworks or anything else that can be construed as a fire risk

    12. any goods with unauthorised logos

    13. any goods for unauthorised trading

    14. dogs (any animals) except guide dogs

    15. anything in glass or cans

    16. any items which may reasonably be considered for use as a weapon. For the avoidance of doubt, it is prohibited to bring into the event any weapons, fireworks, smoke bombs, glass bottles, sharps or other articles which may cause injury.  The throwing of any article which could cause injury or affect the enjoyment of other visitors is strictly prohibited

  1. enters any areas of the site where visitor access is prohibited

  2. carries out any form of trading that has not been authorised by the organisers

  3. General Conditions



  1. By purchasing at ticket you give your express consent to your actual/ simulated likeness to be included for no fee within any audio or visual recording to be used in any media for any purpose at any time. This includes filming by the police or security staff which may be carried out for the security of customers and/or the prevention of crime.

  2. No unauthorised buses, coaches or trucks will be allowed on site.

  3. Any person carrying illegal items or carrying out illegal activity displaying signs of anti-social behaviour will be given to the Police and refused entry.

  4. TEU is unable to accept any liability for personal or property damages, losses (including surrendered items) or injuries sustained at this event - other than caused as a result of our negligence.

  5. The ticket is not refundable or transferrable

  6. Bill subject to change.

  7. Please check all your tickets on purchase as mistakes cannot always be rectified.

  8. Some areas and performance spaces may be unsteady under foot please take care when moving around the site

  9. Warning. Certain performances may contain strobes and/or SFX.

  10. Children are welcome at the event but must stay with their nominated parent or guardian at all times.

  11. Please do not bring food to the event. The traders are lovely and are one of the things that make the event possible.

  12. Smoking and vaping is banned within enclosed public spaces or buildings including marquees. Smoking is not permitted in and around the children’s area.

  13. Excessive exposure to loud music may cause damage to your hearing or to your child.

  14. Please use the bins and recycling points provided on and off site.

  15. Eviction will be considered a last resort. In the first instance warnings will be given. Security will monitor the person/ persons and any persistent anti-social behaviour will result in the person/ persons being escorted to the Gate / Eviction Point where a decision will be made as to the best course of action.
