About The Mars Volta
Taking prog rock to its most exciting extremes, The Mars Volta have been thrilling fans for over twenty years!
Including founders Omar Rodríguez-López (guitar, producer, direction) and Cedric Bixler-Zavala, plus band members (vocals, lyrics), Eva Gardner (bass), Marcel Rodríguez-López (keyboards, synths, percussion), Linda-Philomène Tsoungui (drums) and Leo Genovese (keyboards, saxophone), the El Paso based band are renowned for their intense live performances with some seriously energetic onstage antics.
Last year saw the release of their seventh record eponymously titled The Mars Volta.
