Expect an evening packed with original and emerging music from exciting local bands the High Nines, Shoehorn and Atlas. This months headliners are the High Nines who are an alternative rock band originating from Manchester and Rossendale. They take influences from bands such as The Stone Roses, BMRC, Kasabian, The Music and Joy Division; merging and evolving these ideas to create their own artistic vision. They’ve gone from performing in intimate venues in their early days to selling out iconic spaces such as the Manchester Academy and Gorilla, becoming known for their high energy and compelling live performances. Additionally, they have caught the attention of music critics and industry insiders alike, earning features in the NME, Manchester United’s Match Day programme and half-time airplay at the stadium during a Premier League game.
There will also be an additional set from the super talented Atlas who are last years Battle of the Bands winners, coming back with an indie 5 piece return to the venue for another set of their own indie-infused, alt-rock, and catchy songs.
Ramsbottom/Bury-based indie band Shoehorn complete the line-up, the ever-popular, bright young things will bring their unique brand of punk-infused indie anthems back to our stage for another riotous live set. This event will be showcasing the best live and local talent the area has to offer. Get your tickets now and expect an evening of exciting new music on your doorstep!!
