South Notts Men's Chorus and QuadraVox, The Space, Nottingham - 29th July 2017
The venue was superb, small and intinate but somewaht hard to find, more and bigger signage would have helped.
If we could have better understood any parking arrangements from the ticket, that also would have helped.
The performances were excellent, but there seemed to be misunderstanding about who was introducing what and when, I know there was a deliberate error in the speakers, which was very funny, but there was other non scripted lack of cohesion.
The casual look of the men in the 2nd half was a lovely touch but it was too staged, maybe mix up their look ? some with ties undone some with jackets over shoulder some with pretied ties hanging loose.
Quadravox were superb.

A lovely venue and an amazing concert. South Notts Men's Chorus & Quadavox were a fantastic combination of very talented voices. Looking forward to seeing them in the future.

For a newly formed group they performed very well. They were obviously well rehearsed and keen to entertain. The audience seemed to respond well to the slightly lighter pieces but there was some very moving music in there too and it deserves to be in there with everything else.

An evening of quality singing and entertainment from both South Notts Men's Chorus and QuadraVox. From opera to musicals and songs, from happy to sad. A very varied, but complimentary programme, with something to cater for most tastes. I would highly recommend seeing both South Notts Men's Chorus and/or QuadraVox if you get the opportunity.

I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of this concert. South Notts Men's Chorus produced a beautifully balanced sound across a range of musical styles, while the ladies of QuadraVox gave stunning renditions of traditional, musical theatre and operatic pieces. In addition to my enjoyment of the music, "The Space" at Nottingham Girls' High School is a superb new performance venue, which I look forward to visiting again in the future.
