Seminal psyche rock outfit Soft Machine was formed in 1966. Their members now consist of John Etheridge (guitar), Theo Travis (saxophones, keys), Fred Thelonious Baker (bass) and Asaf Sirkis (drums).
They have released eleven studio albums, including The Soft Machine (1968), Volume Two (1969), Third (1970), Fourth (1971), Fifth (1972), Six (1973), Bundles (1975), Softs (1976), Land of Cockayne (1981) and Hidden Details (2018).

The band was phenomenal and delivered exciting real intelligent music. The Robin is always let down by having no seats though, people who go to see these kind of bands are all in their 60s and 70s; we can't stand all night anymore.

Incredible musicianship and ensemble playing by all band members. A privilege to witness. I hooe I het to see/hear them at the Robin again.
