1. About Rock N Roll Circus

Rock N Roll Circus is a multi-day festival mixing the best of live music with the best of circus entertainment.

2. The Essentials

 

Location

Rock N Roll Circus will be held at the Don Valley Bowl, Sheffield.

The location of customer entrances will be communicated nearer the event.

Note: There is no parking at the festival.

 

Event Timings

Gates open on Friday at 4pm. On Saturday and Sunday at 3pm.

The event closes at 11pm.

Last entry to the site is 9pm.

There is a box office located near the entrance. Box office opens an hour before doors and closes at 9pm each night.

 

Age Policy

Rock N Roll Circus is open to all ages.  Under 14s must be accompanied by an adult and under 5s go free of charge with a full priced adult ticket (maximum 2 per ticket).

We do not accept any parental or supervisory duty of care or liability for any under 18’s on site.

 

Bag Restrictions

If you are bringing a bag, it must be no bigger than an A4 size sheet of a paper otherwise it will not be permitted.

 

Can I bring my own alcohol?

We do not permit any alcohol to be brought on to the site. We have a great selection and variety to purchase from ales to cocktails across various bars.

 

Is there food available at the venue?

Yes, there are plenty of different food options available at the venue. The food options cater to all dietary requirements.

 

Can I leave the site and come back?

No, re-entrance to the site will not be permitted.

-       Cameras, film or video equipment (lenses must be less than 6 inches)

-       Aerosols over 250ml

-       Air horns and megaphones

-       Alcohol for personal consumption

-       All gas canisters of any size

-       Animals (other than registered hearing dogs or guide dogs)

-       Any item which may be reasonably considered as a weapon, includes               any items which may cause danger, offence or disruption to any other             person

-       Audio recorders

-       Camping equipment

-       Cans

-       Chairs

-       Drones

-       Flags

-       Gazebos

-       Glass

-       Paper Lanterns

-       Fireworks or Flares

3. Getting Here

By car

From the M1 motorway: Come off at junction 34 (Meadowhall), follows signs for Sheffield A6178, Attercliffe common it’s a straight road in and only one mile from the M1. Sheffield Arena is on your left, take the second left onto Coleridge Road.

By tram

Travelling by Supertram from Sheffield City Centre: Catch the Yellow Route service to Meadowhall and get off at Arena/Olympic Legacy Park. All day tram travel is just £4.

Travelling by Supertram from Meadowhall: Catch the Yellow Route service to Middlewood and get off at Arena/Olympic Legacy Park. A single is £1.70 or a short distance return is £3.

​

Travelling by Supertram from Sheffield Station: Catch the Blue or Purple Route service to Fitzalan Square and cross to the opposite platform. Then catch the Yellow Route service to Meadowhall and get off at Arena/Olympic Legacy Park. All day tram travel is just £4.00.

4. Accessibility

PA/Companion Tickets

If a customer is unable to attend the festival without the support from a PA/Companion then we will provide a complimentary additional PA ticket (subject to availability)

PA tickets must be applied for via the Access requirements form.

 

There will be an accessible viewing platform at the main stage. Please note that there will be a total capacity at each platform that will be allocated on a first come first served basis. There will be disabled toilets at every viewing platform as well as throughout the festival site. There will also be foldable chairs available.

 

Rock N Roll Circus has an Access Team on site who will be in contact in the lead up to the show and on site across the weekend to support and help where required.

 

As Rock N Roll Circus is a greenfield festival attendees will need to travel across grassy terrain to access the viewing platforms and other areas of the festival. Should we experience rain in the run-up to the event or on the day of the event the terrain could become muddy and harder to navigate, please come prepared for such conditions.

5. Ticket information

Can I purchase tickets on the door?

If the event has not sold out , tickets will be available to purchase on the door.

 

Where it the box office?

The box office is located at the main entrance to the site. It will be clearly signposted.
