Punk Rock Yoga classes are dynamic and designed help you Look, Work, Accept and Transcend in both body and mind. They are suitable for beginners to intermediate—or anyone who wants to try something different— and aim to improve strength and flexibility, create core stability and build a heightened feeling of positivity and empowerment.

Like the punk genre, the music is quite varied and ranges from acoustic skate punk to hardcore, as well as throwing in some ambient post-rock songs for sequences and pranayama.

The classes are run by Jo Smith of Bad Juju Yoga—a fully-qualified Yoga Teacher (200hrs) from the International School of Dru Yoga. Jo was inspired by yoga teacher and Punk Rock Yoga founder, Kimberlee Jensen Stedl, who developed the Punk Rock Yoga Manifesto, and whilst many see yoga and punk at opposite ends of the spectrum, Jo likes to see it as something that helps to bring balance and moderation into one’s life.
