Enjoyable performance and interval!
My daughter and I enjoyed Phill's show and were particularly impressed that he came into the audience during the interval giving out snacks and sweets!(Not that we took any, but he shared them throughout the audience). He was very approachable and happy to chat. He was obviously, and understandably upset at the recent death of his friend and fellow comedian, Sean Hughes. He ended his set by reading a poem of Sean's about death. A sad, but fitting end to an otherwise enjoyable evening. Thanks for coming to Burton-on-Trent, Phill!

I laughed a lot
Phil is a poet. His language is rich and clever. His 'support act' was an enjoyable warm up and rather unexpected. Some very clever references - the stoned waitresses blue eyes and the Blade Runner parody will stay with me - as will Supporting Madness.
He is a man of the people, coming into the audience (I've seen Mark Steele do this too) and being approachable.
The main act was funny, rude and thoroughly enjoyable.
Give this man a show on the BBC.
